" Whole Wide World" - Mindy Gledhill

Only got in 12 this morning.  But it was an awesome 12. 

I loved that every time I looked down I'd see this:




I love these shorts.  I totally think you should score yourself a pair.

I also loved that after every 400 - I'd reward myself with one of these:


Mostly just to keep track of how many 400's I had done. 

Eat one after each 400 . . . .

I think Mindy looks MUCH better with the long hair. Just my opinion though haha.

Speaking of counting... that's 48 sour patch gummies... you ate A WHOLE BAG???

Love the idea of rewards for 400's!
I loved that video. I love that it had Nie Nie in it. And that red headed girl is beautiful. Wish I could pull that off!

Okay, that's it! I need to get myself a pair of those shorts! Any advice on the sizing? I couldn't figure it out through their sizing chart: I'm stuck between the XS and the S on the chart, and am not sure which one to pick...

ONLY 12 miles...pfft! You kill me. i do the same thing with shot blocks. i can have one after a certain pre-determined distance. a nice little strategy.

Great song! I enjoyed watching.

What a good idea to bribe yourself into finishing something you don't want to do. Maybe I'll do that for my next hill workout. Which will be Saturday while I recoup from my 8K hill workout/race from this last Saturday.

Oh and I think you only get to eat 5 pound Gummy Bear after a 50m.

Will- not. Happening. I actually don't like these sour things. Just had to use them instead of my panda puff cereal due to a lot of food fights occurring in my household. ;)

LC - they are some crap candy I stole from peanut. I took two. Cut each one into 6 pieces. They were the size of mara[schi-whatever] cherries. they were sour and had Willy Wonka on the front. super gross. but worked. ;)

I need to do something like that to help me keep track of intervals/repeats. I'm too impatient to keep track of stuff like that and if I throw repeats in during a long run (like one that's 12 miles - haha), I have no hope of remembering how many I've done.

Awesome shorts! I'm glad the run was a great one!

It's kinda funny, as we build our distances more and more and we say "Only did 12" ... we get it, but I always love the reaction of a non runner from the thought of ONLY 12.

What is it that you are eating? Rock Candy? And no matter what it is it is your motivation and that rocks.
