Had to . . . .

. . . while I cannot yet share the details of "Back to School Shopping Day 2010".

I can tell you . . . I had already purchased these shoes during Nordy's Anniversary Sale while in Seattle earlier this month.  $49.90 - a total steal.

So - Peanut is not yet "ready" to show her "First Day of School Outfit" ----- I'm not sure I'll ever be ready as I got the "exclusive preview" last night . . . (&^$~#@!)*!!

Do teachers ever call the parents on the first day of school to address "issues"?!

We are off to a pool party today [thank goodness] so it's [outfit] is mild.

Work it girl!

WOWZA!
Aunt A, are you ready?!

ps-yes teachers do call on the first day w/issues. i used to own a large daycare (85 kids) and had one of my kindergarten kids get kicked out of school on the first day b/c he didn't hold the door open for someone behind him and the other kid's fingers got slammed in the door.

what are we paying for again?

sorry. got off on a tangent there.

xo,

Ok, so at a teacher party in July, some teachers were talking about how the little girls wear shorts that are shorter than their finger tips when their arms are extended along their bodies. The 5th and 6th grade teachers have BIG, HUNKY, UGLY t-shirts in sizes like xxx large and they make the girls wear those shirts over their clothes the WHOLE day if they aren't dressed appropriately. No spaghetti strap tanks either. I don't know, it seemed a little "over kill" to me!! Peanut looks too sweet and stylish to cover up with an ugly tee !
