she's crafty

Man, how I love the Beastie Boy's.  I know, reliving my college days.

Here are my "Thoughts for Thursday".

I kept Peanut home from summer camp last Friday and we made this.  I know, I know who names their daughter so people can forever torment her on her initials?? "phone home" anyone?  [Hey, they are my initials too.  Misery loves..... ]

Then she made this all on her own. The kid loves crafts. "She's Crafty". Me.....not so much.

Then, I got this really awesome work email this morning requesting additional photos of the very orange dress below [with someone wearing it].  Chuy wasn't cooperating [what?  So my dog doesn't like silk]....SO I went against my better judgement . . . put it on and let Peanut snap a few photos.  To which my dear sweet bidder replied, "I see why you are selling it, it doesn't suit you."  Really? Really are you going to ASK me to model it then insult me?!  Whatever.

Just in case any of you are wondering how *&%@!^* hot it is here today.

Another awesome quote I just saw at the YMCA when I went to pick up Peanut.
And I leave you with events from Peanut's Friday night trip with the "P" family to Blockbuster.  Only my kid could figure out how to mangle  and tangle her hair into the twisty buzz lightyear-ish fan thing in 30 seconds or less.  That's my girl.

I think they just wanted extra picks too see your very chiseled arms and then they got all jealous and had to hate on you. Freaks!
Ok, I won't whine about the 105 degrees here. It's kinda cool out compared to your desert heat.
Love the crafty crafts and the quote at the Y. I'm a sucker for quotes, especially the Dr. Suisse one's.

Ok, I do love Dr. Seuss but still can't for the life of me ever get his name spelled right on the first try.

Please! You could make a potato sack look hot!

eBay sellers take a lot of crap. A big part of my husband's business is done on eBay and it's just getting out of hand. You take crap from the buyers, you take crap from eBay (after you pay their massive fees), and right now he's taking crap from PayPal. It's ridiculous!

That picture of Peanut is hilarious. That looks like something I would do.

Whatever. You look gorgeous in that dress. Oh, and my sister used to be obsessed with the Beastie Boys. I still catch myself yelling, "I did it like this! I did it like that! I did it with a whiffle ball bat!"

Clearly, this ebayer is a big massive jealous A-hole because you look hot in the dress! And clearly they would look like a big fat ball of orangey sunshine if they put it on.

When is peanut starting a blog????

I froze my tushy off this morning on the bike - July, and I was cold!

That person who said that dress didn't suit you? WHAT??? I think it looks awesome. They were just jealous of how great you look in it!
