Great picture! You look lovely in Maine, Emz :)
My memories of Maine are very mosquito-y... we were there in late May and they were overwhelming. As long as it's cold, there are no skeeters. Cold is better than those nasty varmints ;-)

IT is Freezing in Maine. We had snow in NH today so I feel you! Hoping you have a safe trip back to Arizona:)

Do you even have clothes for weather like that? I wouldn't think you'd have need for much cold weather stuff in Arizona.

Welcome to New England! I'm just glad I only have to live here for another 9 weeks. The amazing thing is all the runners I see everyday... rain, snow, wind, cold, hot, etc. It leaves me with NO EXCUSES!

I love New England but not when freezing, more with real Spring weather! did you eat some Maine Lobster? they have THE best lobster. I used to drive to Maine every summer for vacation when I was living in Quebec

Caroline said...

did you run out there?

Yes, it's darn cold in VT too. If you are on the ocean it would be tons colder! But Maine is great no matter what!

i don't know how people live in cold weather climates? I did it for 29 years and now wonder what took me so long to leave?

It was 90 today, my suntan is amazing, and i enjoyed the sweat!

Question ... it was pretty chilly in Boston, so why make yourself colder by GOING FREAKING FURTHER NORTH??? It was probably pretty awesome though!

Anne said...

Maine weather is pretty similar to Québec weather...and believe it or not, we run in that! You look beautiful in that photo, but where's the snow? :)

Emz said...

Anne- you are super human. For. Sure.

Jim- let's blame it on the pita.

My cousins from Arizona were freezing in our 70-75 degree weather. I was begging to swim at Lake Washington and they wanted sweaters. :-D

Happy Easter!

Oh man I am so sad I missed you!!! I would have come south to say hi for sure (Inside. Some where warm) if I knew you were in Maine!! How did I miss that?? Dang it. Dang it! DANG IT!

Glad you got to see some of it though!

It also just occurred to me that your husband is literally a foot and a half taller than I am.
