"Nine In The Afternoon" - Panic! At The Disco

So where's the weirdest place you've ever found your phone?

I think, this does it for me.

MIA for about 45 minutes.  Ya.  that's.  embarrassing.

a n y w a y

*  Marathon #10 in. five. days.  cannot. wait.

*  Oh and Kevin . . . he totally rocks.  check.  this.  out.

You. bet. cha.

freaking. love. it.

*  Got this in this morning........

........... while the sick-o [Peanut] took a break from spewing-chunder

Love that kid.

Seriously . . . . what kid apologizes after puking?  mine.  "Sorry you have to clean that up Mom."  breaks.  my.  heart.

*  Should this notification from Nordstrom really make me this happy?!

I'm on my fifth year. [don't.tell.the.Pita.] shhhhhhhhhh

*  I love this photo with my two childhood BFF's.  Haven't seen the one on the left for 11 years [yep, we live like 25-30 minutes away from each other].  crazy.

Look.  at.  us.   yikes.

Man, those white flats [?!?!!?!?] are.  so.  hot.

*  Oh and I have some mighty big news to spill here in a few weeks [2/14].  This.  will.  Be.  awesome.

Happy Nine In The Afternoon!

I once put it in the mailbox. Was talking on it, hung up, took out the mail, then put the phone in the box.

hope your peanut feels better!

Oh. Is it not normal to keep your phone by the pickles?

ahhhh, I want to know the news NOW!! I'm so bad that! Totally going to be thinking of it until then!!

And the paint splatter background? classic.

Big Daddy Diesel said...

I left mine in my tri jersey and went swimming in a lake, that was a lovely $350 mistake

Now you are teasing us and having to wait till V-Day for the news.

Matty O said...

Oh man. H would get a verbal lashing had I found one of those letters in our house. BURN THE EVIDENCE!

I hate pickles. H... she craves them. Match made in heaven. Every meal she gets my pickles.

Sounds like your daughter is pretty darn polite. Don't let the world ruin her :)

I'd brought dishes into my room, but my phone gets ignored when I'm home. I never hear it ringing, which usually gets me in trouble with my friends.

Hope your girl is well soon :)

Another marathon?!?! You are my hero. Love the 90's photo! Have fun with the b.f.f's and that is so sweet that she apologizes that you have to clean up after her!

H Love said...

waiting for the big news!! love the pic...rocking!

Jason said...

Jill's comment was the first one I read and had me in tears. That is perfect.

And what a huge bottle of pickles you have. Karen will be coming over to share as she loves her some pickles.

Let the P-Nut know that we are all pulling for her to feel better real soon and not because we don't want you to not clean up vomit but b/c we truly care about her well being.

jymmebe said...

Give Miss Peanut a hug from us . . . so sweet about her apologizing though! I pay our kids $$ every time they make it to the bathroom to go puke . . . it's worth every dollar, promise!

Have a fun lunch with the girls . . . memories, memories, memories!

Looking forward to cheering both you and Ann on this Saturday!

Love you!

Oh, and a Happy Birthday to OUR daddy-O! :)

A new ultra in the works? Marathons are just an everyday event around the EMZ household, amiright?

Dropped my cell in the toilet one time while talking on it ... dropped the call too-weird.

Dani- danielleislosingit said...

Just a random story that your story reminded me of. I was a huge nerd in 1st grade. So nerdy, that one day I had to puke, and rather than running to the trash can, I patiently waited in line at my teachers desk for twenty min to ask her permission to go to the bathroom. Well I finally got to the front of the line, and I opened my mouth to ask permission, and ended up puking all over her desk. Good times.

Did you find the phone in the fridge or did........somebody else find it? That probably would be something that could be mentioned for years.

45 minutes MIA ain't too bad. Imagine if it was days.

I found mine in the freezer once. I didn't know it was lost. I was looking for ice cream. I had 4 missed calls.

Man, I'm kinda nervous...I'm such a newbie commenter here and I really need to bring it.

I was thinking about commenting on EMZ's blog with an EMZ impression, kinda like:

Get.freaking.out

My.kid.puked.too

That
is
really
sad

Happy.Freaking.Day

Chris. K. You. Are. A. Natural.

Can't wait for the news. Another buckle?

Hoping Peanut feels better soon. Puking is one of the worst things to go through. :(

Erika said...

I lost my phone many places...one being inside the couch cushion. yikes. Hope peanut feels better soon!!

Char said...

Yep your taste in shoes has changed - a lot! And did you find your phone by ringing it? I'm wondering what tune your fridge played.

Unknown said...

<3 Chris K's comment :)

My.kid.has.NEVER.puked.
(knock on wood!!!)

seriously-27 months and only ever spit up as an infant and once she puked a little when coughing.

Congrats on the Norstrom "award"--just one more reason why YOU FREAKING ROCK!! LOL

Dear Peanut,
Lola and I are really sorry that you are not feeling well. We hope that you are up and about really really soon! You don't have to thank your Mommy-that's what Mommy's do.
Get well soon!!
Jen and Lola

Laura said...

I NEVER lose mine...My sister however is the queen of it and recently 'found' hers in the freezer.
Along with her car keys...I don't know how she doesn't fall down more...

Anonymous said...

Paige once hid my phone in my don's underwear drawer... took me over 3 hours to find.

Joanne said...

What a place to leave your phone. Did it drain or preserve the battery ;)

Big race coming up YAY! and...total YAY for a kid that is considerate enough to apologize for the upchuck.

Amy said...

I lose my phone and my keys all the time, though not usually in the same place. The phone is easy - I can call the number to track it down, I wish I could do the same for my keys!

Heather said...

Hope peanut is feeling better soon. she's so sweet to worry about you having to clean up after her. I think I had those white flats too! Have fun hanging with your friends on Friday! Marathon #10, Wow! Awesome, Enjoy!

Karen R said...

The phone - I found mine in the pantry. I think that is as bad as the fridge!

Can't wait for the news! Tell us now!

gmontalvo13 said...

ah, have a great lunch! old friends are the best!

def does not mean you're not a runner! :)
just something i aspired to! hahaha

Tina @GottaRunNow said...

That's the sweetest story related to throwing up I've ever heard!

Sounds like a lot of runners spend a lot of time in the refrigerator and freezer. Makes sense, actually!

Johann said...

I have another kind of weird. I never misplace or lose anything. I still have all my pens and pencils from school and varsity. I sometimes throw things away just to finally get rid of it. I always know where everything I own is.

Aimee said...

Ha ha! I have actually left my phone in the fridge too. The weird thing is, after looking around for it forever, I can't even remember what made me think to look in the fridge. But, when I did, there it was!

Ohh...can't wait to hear what the news is! :)

fancy nancy said...

You know you're too busy when you find your phone in the fridge!! Hope your little guy feels better soon!

Stacie said...

I think I read about someone else putting their phone in the fridge this week too :) Love the BFF pic.

Can't wait to hear the news on 2/14.

BTW, check out my last post. Nothing mind blowing but I think you'll like it.

Tortuga_Runner said...

Hope peanut feels better soon. As for white flats, their still hot right? No really, aren't they kinda in?

Best place to find phones? Bottom of a toddler plastic golf cart.
