"Hello Seattle" - Owl City

Y a y !

So happy to have this to look forward to.

Otherwise, I'd be planning my next 24 hour run......which would leave me [most likely] looking for a new place to live. ;)

I. Love. You. Pita!

**Yes, I'll try to post about the run tomorrow.**

I haven't cried for 5.5 hours.

Awwww yaaaaa baby!

I think you should run 5 marathons back to back in Seattle. Just because you can. Show those Seattleans what you're made of.

You are invincible.

*Seattlites (for those who might be curious) :)

Anyways, yay! It's a fun marathon and a beautiful course. The finish is a bit ridiculous though. At mile 23, you pass the off ramp to the finish line and can see everybody finishing...except you still have 3 miles left to run.

(HOPEFULLY) Seattle will be sunny by then. If not, I'm going to cry.

This is just what you do isn't it? You complete one goal and then start looking around for your next. I think it's an addiction - but it could be worse. You could be a shoe-addict!!

I love that your already looking ahead!

Marathons are so like 2 months ago (-:

How does a marathon or half marathon even seem worthy after doing a 24 hour run or 100 miles?!

If I can ever get over these consistently changing injuries, I can't wait 'till I'm able to do something like that!

Yeah! I'm so glad you are coming to Seattle! This will be my first marathon! Tall Mom Mel is organizing a pre-race dinner if you are interested in a big blog meet-up :)

Old Spaghetti Factory in Tukwila, 5pm
Mel has the details & is making the reservations.

With the mileage base you've kicked off in the last couple of months, that marathon will be a nice easy tempo run for you. ;)

Andrew Opala said...

How about running this race with all of us on your back? You could do that - since you're Wonder Woman!

Anyway the 24hr on a treadmill is still making me think that you are not an Alien, like Chris said, but an Angel.

You are awesome, keep it up!

Just watched all the finish coverage- still a little teary.

Emz said...

Andrew. That made me tear up. Yes, again.
Thank you.
