"Best Spot In The Lot" - Nice Peter [& ideas?]

"Put me in the zoo" was one of my favorite stories to read my niece & nephew [T1 & T2]. I love the story about "Spot".

Spot is a polka-dot leopard who can change colors and even juggle his own spots. The story follows him along his journey as he tries to convince two children that he is special enough to be exhibited in the zoo.

The spotted animal soon discovers he really belongs in a circus, not a zoo.  And how this location is so much cooler.

This was the first thing I thought of when I saw these yesterday.  Well, besides my first [first] thought that, "these are the freaking coolest sleeves I have EVER seen."

See I am Spot.

See spot run.

See spot/ Emz, the "circus chika" [one of my {too} many nicknames] run, in these sweet new sleeves.  All the way through the marathon circus
Thank you Angie B .

They rock.

Any ideas for me?
Topics?
questions?
Anything you want to see here in this little thing I call a blog?

Hmmmm, 300 followers on post 300 would be pretty cool. ;)

Happy Thursday!  My favorite Day of the week.  Even when I'm sick.

Emz said...

MO - Matty-O: can I please abrev.?
Yes, runner, runner, runner, runner, runner, runner shirt in PINK too! Any color it's available in.

Funny thing last time I wore this shirt . . had two people ask me, "are you a runner?" I laughed at both thinking it was a joke/sarcasm . . . NOPE. Really people? Wear a runner shirt and not be a runner. false advertising? emz? never.

Emz said...

Slowmo - hilarious. I'd be stuck at #4. or maybe #3.

For the 300th post how about we steal from KC and get a vlog. A vlog of the abs and arms workout that has you so tired today.

And btw - if you check out my blog today it has your pic and KCs pic right next to each other. It is like an ab-off going on.

Emz said...

Jason. I bow down to KC. No contest. She rocks.

Those are bad a$$. I was settled on getting the pink zebra striped ones from Moeben and now I must reconsider...

I think on post 300, you need to giveaway a pair of polka dot arm sleeves!!!

Foges said...

how about revamping post {one}?

Emz said...

Foges- like that. ;)

Aimee said...

Those sleeves are awesome! I may have to get some since the only ones I have are boring black ones! :)

Amanda@runninghood said...

I love your sleeves! I actually use my kids' "baby legs" which work the same way. I've received many weird looks while wearing them so I'm really glad to see others supporting the running sleeves! Happy to find your blog. Look forward to reading more and getting caught up.

Paige said...

I'm "real live" friends with Adrienne but I've been enjoying your blog frequently. The humor, the sarcasm, the music. Love. It. I'm not officially following any blogs because that would make me cra-zy, but I REALLY wanted to be your 300th follower. I tried. Someone else had the same idea at the exact same time. You are popular girl!

Molly said...

love that book, our copy is falling apart.

I'm with Foges' idea....

Emz said...

Paige. YAY me! Thank you!! Thank you!! Welcome to cra-zy-ville!

And SO - SO - SO jealous that you "know" Adrienne. That makes me HUGELY jealous of you.

Thank you!!

Adrienne said...

It's true....I'm cosmopolitan :)

Love Paige
Love EMZ

Emz said...

Adrienne - it's true. I adore you.
And on the "cosmo" . . Thanks for taking it "shaken" not stirred. ;)

April said...

Those sleeves rock! I've never run with arm sleeves but if I had cute ones like that I might...where can I find those?

Gracie said...

Well those are the cutest running doo-dads I ever saw.

Liz said...

Wow! awesome.
I think my favorite thing about your blog is the seeming spontaneity of your topics. I never know what to expect... so I don't want to suggest any topics. I love the blog just the way it is...

Teamarcia said...

Coolest of cool sleeves! My boring black ones are cringing in the drawer.
The circus Just came to town here yesterday...when shall I expect you?

RockStarTri said...

Anyone up for a game of connect the dots? Hint: don't use a sharpie.

Emz said...

Teamarcia - cracking up. Love that.

RST - hey. No connecting my dots!! Stay away from the sharpie!!

Adrienne said...

Char said...

To get 300 followers you'd have to lose a couple so instead why not 300 comments for your 300th post.

Alicia said...

Love them and love that book!

Trish said...

I love those sleeves!! So awesome!

Matty O said...

You seriously have over 300 followers... REALLY?!

Tell me the Pita doesn't find that the least bit disturbing...

I think if I get 100 followers I might have a minor freak out of feeling totallllllly wacko.

Do you use Google Analytics at all? What is your daily hit count? (I can email you how to do it if you want...) I have far more hits than followers which makes me think you probably flirt with 500 hits a day.

Erika said...

We read that book tonight at bed time:)

Emz said...

Erika - yay!!!!

MO- matty-O - Haaaaa!!!!!! As if. And you are right. I have no idea how to do that. Email away!! Sounds intriguing. [did I spell that right?!]

Happy 300!

Hmmmm ..... What do I want you to post about .....

I know! I copied my cousin who posted 101 things she wants to do in 1001 days. Takes a while to make it, but it's fun to think about what you want to accomplish by 2013 - large and small.

Now I have to go read post 1 immediately. Great sleeves, I like polka dots, they always look friendly and energetic.

So how about a post on "Why I blog" or "What I've learned" or what keeps you going? After 300 posts, I would enjoy your some of your insight(s) about blogging.

Like the polka dots too....do they do stripes 2? Add another follower
