You ever tried making a 12 hour playlist for a run?
You have any songs for me? [pretty please]
Please refrain from submitting any songs containing the word "death", "dying" or "horses".

Jamoosh said...

If I wasn't such a fashion dork I would say your weakness is ugly shoes. But I am not going to go there.

I think you should try for 12 hours of Johnny Cash for you mix.

Emz said...

Mooshy - don't be a hater. You know they rock. "Don't bring your guns to town . . . leave your guns at home.." - Sounds like death to me - not doing it.

I love lists and random facts about people.

love the hot shoes, ms emz!

I find that every time I lay out a playlist to fill the whole length of a run, I tend to repeat just a few at the end and never really get through the whole thing. :)
On repeat at the end of Javelina? Andrew WK 'She is Beautiful'

And I like all the random facts (actually read them!)

I'm kinda dorky but here's some songs that help pull me through the miles (well, when I'm running miles)- totally has to have a fast beat for me:
Dynamite: Taio Cruz
In M Head: Jason Derulo
This is who I am: The Pop Heros
3: Brittany Spears
Run - Almighty Athem: Jamie Knight
Dangerous: Casada
The Adventure: Angels & Airwaves
The Cave: Mumford & Sons
Lifeline: Angels & Airwaves
Let it Rock: Kevin Rudolf
In the Dark: Tiesto & Christian Burns

Hope you can find something in there. I don't think there's any death, horses or puking during a 50-miler in there.

Download "I Walk the Line" by the band Live. It is amazing. You could also do the entire Led Zepplin box set - every song is a classic.

Christina is the true thunder stealer. I was just going to say that you are probably a supermodel when not knocking out ultramarathons with your good buddy Mr Ed.

PS thanks for taking the high road. So good to see you dragged your mind out of the gutter. Boni!
