weekend review in numbers:
4 - # of times I asked Peanut if she was "super sure" she didn't want me to accompany her to school this morning.
4 - # of "no, thanks" replies I received in return.
11:57 - time I had to pick up Peanut from a "failed" slumber party Saturday night.
0 - # of replies I received to texts I sent Peanut on Friday night [at yet another sleepover] this one was "successful" though. Thank goodness [due to my friends party]. Thanks KP!
8.5 - # of hours of sleep I got this weekend.
1 - # of hamsters I saw at Petsmart using their "treadmill" wisely.
22 - # of minutes it took for me to get my first silly photo of Ashley.
0 - # of bad words I said when I gouged my back right before the part Friday. YAY me!!
2 - # of times I had to break out my best "running man" on the dance floor Friday. What? It's a timeless/classic.
6 - # of times Judi broke out her fav move -- the "sprinkler".
427 - # of eye rolls I/we received from the Pita [and co] while dancing. He's/they're just jealous of our sweet moves.
100 - % embarrassed I was by being called on stage with the Pita Saturday night at a comedy club and being given the "tallest/hottest couple" award. Don't worry, it didn't go to our heads ----- since this was the "creature" that gave it to us.
100 - % sure that he was higher than a kite.
4 - # of burgers I had this weekend.
12 - the cost of the best one of the four. "Howie Burger" from Chelsea's Kitchen. TO DIE FOR.
1 - # of cakes Peanut made to celebrate the end of summer.
Reads: "fun in the sun.....is done."
1 - # of times I may or may not have gotten a little teary eyed this morning. 5th grade? Seriously? 5th grade??!

The hamster photo, made my day!!!
Thanks!!
That hamster photo is hilarious!!
Someone ate at the Yardhouse - love it for a chain restaurant!
oh, i just have to steal your hamster photo for my blog when needed. :D
great post, chica!
The sprinkler...now THAT'S a timeless classic. Glad you had a good time.
That hamster photo is probably a pretty close resemblance to what I looked like climbing out of my first-ever ice bath on Sunday. Nothing like sitting in a slurpee to make my inflexible body even more tightly wound.
Any party involving the running man and the sprinkler is a success. Throw in some breakdancing and some kid-n-play moves and you've entered a whole new level of awesome.
Help ... assume I am a dumbass that has spent most of his life running his business ... the "sprinkler" I know but what's the "running man"?
ETR - good call on teh Kid N' Play moves.
Ha ha..so hilarious! That hamster picture is too funny and the cake your daughter made is too sweet! :)
Busy Weekend! 5th grade=Science projects! Yeah?Boo?
Fun times ahead.
Happy 5th Grade to Peanut!
I wish there was a pic of you doing the Running Man! That would have been awesome!
Love the hamster pic!
Funny post. You and Pita are the tallest/hottest couple!
And can we please get some video of this running man? Come on ... please!
that hamster photo cracks me up!!! sounds like you had a fun weekend!
Kid n play--my idols. Omgosh tmb- you do not want to see video or even photos of my dancing action. It's blackmail material.
2011 Boston --- kid n play party/meet up.
Who's "in"?! ;)
Woohoo, tallest hottest couple all the way!
Love that hamster pic.
LOVE that hamster photo, made me laugh out loud!
Peanuts grow up too fast, huh?
Mine is 4th grade! How does that happen so fast?!?
Come on no video of the running man and no photo of your crowning (as tallest/hottest couple)!?!? You must have been sad.
That hamster photo is the best! so funny.
ughhh so busyyyyy! I love this post, i love the ham-p-sters, i love the succesfful sleep over to!
And I was expecting running data when I opened this post?
This was way better!!!
I had a hunch that it was, but there's a coaster in there that confirmed! Kinda cheated!
Love that hamster photo! An end of summer celebration cake? What a good attitude!
Awwwww, I've totally had the failed sleepover before ( you know..when I was younger....not last week...) Not fun. :(
AWwwww....LittleMan's first day was today and I was kinda sad. Sounds like you had a great weekend!
Still teary- it's 7 pm. You sound fun to go out with, lets go out together, I promise to make silly faces and dance like an idiot.
too sweet.. nothing can prepare us for the time flying by so quickly, huh?
Mmm, that cake looks yummy! Nice job, Peanut! Sounds like a FUN weekend.

Love it. The hamsters especially.
Maddie got brought home at 11:30 last night because she was "ready to come home" from her sleep over too! Isn't it crazy how quickly they grow up??
I love these "number of times" posts. Intriguing. Hottest/tallest couple? Will never happen in my lifetime. Mabye number of times she farted at the party. Or number of times she used the bathroom. I'm all over the Boston 2011 kid/party thing. I hope I don't fail at that one.
4 burgers, really?? I'm impressed! Yeah, my boys are stating high school next week. FREAKY!!!
Awwww, your little girl is growing up. Some day you may too!
Lovely post! I so need an end of winter celebration here on my side.
great post. lmao you are too silly.
hilarious... was laughing through most of the list.... however you ate more burgers than I did this weekend, not cool girl... just not cool!
Would love to see a vid of your classic dance moves on the dance floor haha! Sounds like me dancing, and yes, people in cleveland ohio get pretty darn jealous of my dance moves!
H however gives me my space and (at least I don't think) does not get TOO embarrassed, the dancing is the least bit of embarrassment I can offer her :)
Good luck to a 5th grade peanut!
I want to hear more about the Howie burger!
Awe man, I'm not sure which is more depressing: Fun in the sun is done or 5th grade. Man they grow faast...I've got the first day of kindergarten coming up. Talk about depressing!
that hamster pic is classic. as an avid hamster owner back in the day, it's fact that they only use the damn wheels when your household is trying to sleep. and only after the wheel has gotten an impossible squeak. :)
You're emotional because she's starting fifth grade! Just wait till she graduates university! I was teary all the way through Sam's ceremony last year and I've got another one coming up at the end of this year. I'll be breaking out the dark glasses, tissues and tranquillizers.
