..............I'm finding the above to title be true.
Especially, teenage [and pre-teen] girls in movies.
Here it is . . . . "by the numbers"
1 - guitar delivered today.
100 - percentage sure I am it grew since I last saw it.
4 - number of sleeps until THE delivery.
38 - time in minutes that we arrived before the movie started.
1 - minutes we should have arrived early.
13 - total amount of people in movie theater
10 - number of the above 13 who were over 13.
2 - girls I brought with me who watched the movie from in between their fingers
1 - person in theater wearing CEP compression socks & smelling like biofreeze.
30 - cost for 6 people to enter [score $5 before noon]
50 - cost to "feed" six people while watching a movie.
1 - people who snuck in a whole dill pickle. what? Long run recovery.
1 - number of 11 year olds who weren't too impressed with my "sneak in" food of choice.
12 - number of double chocolate chip cupcakes made after movie.
0 - number I decorated.
1 - mom who laughed till she cried when she was given this at her computer

"Rebel Yell" - Billy Idol
Pita & Peanut last night.
Pita: waaaa. waaaa. waaaa. [as to say, stop your whining]
Peanut: I don't whine. I REBEL YELL.
Freaking love my girl & my ipod playlist we listen to in the car.
Feels like it's been a while since I bored you all to tears with a BPP [bullet points post] . . . so bam [ * ] here it is.
* The Pita swears he got food poisoning from mangoes we bought at Costco [I'm pretty sure Costco is too perfect for THAT but whatever]. Food poisoning, I'm finding, is one of those illnesses you can't really help someone through. You buy the Pepto, make a small pyramid of toilet paper readily available, go gorillas buying bananas . . . . then, seriously. . . . . leave the house for the day.
* We attended a Habitat For Humanity Charity Event over the weekend. Which of course meant we ended up with the one item we should not have. The Pita and I + silent auction = . . . . this never ends well. [well for us anyway] We are the newproud owners of a 10' guitar with all the teams on it who have played in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl.
Ummmmm, Yay, us?!
* Finished my run this morning to Peanut asking if she could push the "easy" button. I said "No, that was freaking hard!"
Her reply, "Mom, it was only 17 miles!" [then I hear, "that was easy!"] I swear, no respect in this household. ;)
* I was the proud recipient of a milk out the nose shower recently. Holy. Gross.
Nothing like snotted up milk on your fillet to help you all the sudden feel "done" eating. [was pretty freaking funny though].
* Is it Saturday yet? After attending the sweet 16 games in Phoenix this past weekend . . . .
I am beyond ready to see how the final four games turn out . . .
Who are you rooting for?
My bracket . . . it's actually turning out rather nicely given Duke's crap showing. [not that I wanted them to win . . . but C'mon. Destroyed my bracket]
* And NO. I will pass. I do not get sucked into the MEGA-wasted-MILLIONS lotto crap. The Pita does though. Gotta love a dreamer. I do love this stat I heard this morning though:
Based on other U.S. averages, you're about 8,000 times more likely to be murdered than to win the lottery, and about 20,000 times more likely to die in a car crash than hit the lucky numbers.
The odds of winning are 1 in about 176 million. Which are quite similar to the odds of me running outside tomorrow.
Did you buy a ticket?
If yes, how many?

"Folding Chair" - Regina Spektor
Partying [celebrating with Peanut] yesterday.
was. a. blast.
Here are a few photos from the day of awesomeness.
For some reason this made her sooooooooooooooooo happy. "Mom, MOM, M O M! The Wii knows it's my birthday!!!"
Loved it.
Then she decorated her cake.
Holy. crap.
Then she decorated it some more while I was in the shower.
Holy.
Holy.
Crap.
[Thank you Cari!] ;)
Then we went to Costco. What? it's only the second time this week. We needed to check the price on Peanut's "dream birthday dinner". crab legs.
Seriously.
Could she be any more high maintenance? I kid. I kid. She rarely asks for anything [no joke].
But seriously, I was not about to buy $60 worth of crab legs!
Peanut: [sad face].
Me: Let's check the sushi. You love sushi.
Peanut: ok. mom.
Sushi was a go. [If you ask me . . . .I thought it looked terrible but she was excited].
Next.
Lunch with Nana & Papa. This girl . . . . she loves her N&P like crazy. makes. my. heart. Happy.
Yum. How did I not get a photo of this? uggg.
Then . . . . you guessed it . . .
On to MORE food. YAY!
Zoyo yogurt.
I will never understand gumballs on frozen things . . . .
That discard pile . . . [dry heaves]
Then volleyball practice, library & . . . . [the guilt sets in] . . . .
It's her Birthday Emily.
Suck. it. up. and. get. her. the. freaking. crab. legs.
I
Folded . . . .
like
a
freaking
lawn
chair.
I wish I could have taken a photo of the running hug I received. Literally, fell onto the glass of the seafood counter.
Emz: [to seafood guy] Yes, I swear, I do feed her.
Great night. GREAT food. Great girl.
And we'll do it again tonight [minus the crab, add crappy/cheap frozen pizza]. Party x 2 with the family.
I'm sooooooooo staying away from that cake though.
Had my last long run [before Seattle RNR] this morning 20.75 miles. Burping frozen yogurt sushi from last night.
So
freaking
gross.
Happy Freaking Friday!
Happy Weekend!!
Do you let your kids decorate their own cakes?
Would you eat that cake?
