A text from my awesome Niece Morgan saying, "I want to run a half marathon, train me!"

Would lead to the Pita saying, "If Morgan can do it, I'll do it running backwards." [uh, ya, anyway....]

Which led to my sister training with her daughter [Morgan].  Which led to my oldest sister saying, "We are in! Me, Dave, Troy & Julia!". [I should probably ask Dave, Troy & Julia if they know they've been signed up].

So that's like most of the people you see in these photos!!

So then, I had to text my sister in Indiana saying, "It's a RUNUNION!  Be here March 3rd, 2012!"

Still waiting to hear back from MY brother.  But he's in.  He has to be in.

So a few nights ago Mase [pitbull] was barking something fierce.  This is highly uncommon.  After the Pita and I laid there at 1:20am playing rock, paper, scissors [YES, in the dark]. . . . ya, the Pita lost.

He went outside to find this:

A raccoon in our pool.

ummmm, I didn't believe him so that's how I got the photos.

Pita:  There's a raccoon in our pool.
Emz: ya, and monkeys fly out of my butt.

Pita:  I'm serious.  Come look!
Emz:  I'm serious.  I'm not getting up.  Take a photo and prove it.

So yay!  Now we have photos!

I've been freaking pool jogging running as of late [sucks my big toe --- actually my right achilles]  but I did have a blast putting my raccoon face on.

The Pita tried to fish him out but it wasn't buying it.

I'm hoping all the chlorine will fade this sucker.

okay - so I'm wishing I had won four more of these to give away.

Loved the jokes and seriously........why you guys run outside is beyond  me. ;)

I have to stay true to my AZ roots and give this one to Adam. 

Ray Road?  Could you pick a worse place to run?  Have you checked the stats online to see how many people are killed each year there?!  Please tell me you'll at least pray before you leave even with this thing on.
